I own a repair shop in Depoe Bay & just think these guys are awesome. I have used them on & off for years with consistent professionalism in workmanship as well as customer service. Its true transmission shops can be a scary place. These guys do it right!

This was a wonderful day. I was awoken by my husband to go to the local office of AAMCO for an oil change for my 2014 Nissan. What an extraordinary experience that was. We will return very soon and keep returning here for all of our auto needs. They even do warranty work on most vehicles. We will go nowhere else.
Little wait to get in, but worth it
So, Rick is AMAZING! My little Honda had an issue and I thought I needed a new transmission. It was a seal, after several mechanics, Rick found it. My $6k fix turned out to be less than $400 and my car that was parked for almost a year is zipping around without a leak 🚗 Thank you Rick and Aamco of Newport 🩷

Been meaning to write a review, better late than never! My partner bought an old Mercury sedan from his brother for my work commute, the only problem was the transmission never shifted out of 1st gear! We made an appointment for just a diagnostic at AAMCO, and 20 minutes later the gentleman came back saying they fixed it! Turns out it was just a fuse causing the problem, which they replaced and didn’t charge me for anything - even their time! I’m sure this isn’t typical, however I would like to say Thank You to those guys for their help! They could have taken advantage of the situation and my automotive ignorance but instead just asked for a good review. THANK YOU AAMCO CREW - YOU ROCK!
